 Scenario Game Ideas
« Thread Started on Jan 4, 2008, 2:32pm »

Operation:Frozen Arse VI is the only game we will be repeating this year so I'm looking for ideas. Any one out there have an idea for a scenario/big game they would like to share? Please, post them here or call me if you prefer.

I know a lot of us really enjoyed the Operation Eiffel Tower game. That format where neither team owns the field and missions are radioed in to each team's HQ was really fun.

I'm surprised you remember that game. It's been awhile. We have built two new base radio's recently to do just that. We plan on playing at least two games using that format this year. One will be Operation: Stranglehold which was the name of the first scenario game ever played at B.C. based on terrorist and the Missouri Militia. Looking for an idea for the other one still.

I don't think I could forget that game.... our drunk, divorced, possibly suicidal commander was crazy. Add in the guy that ran into the tree during the night game....yeah it is a hard game to forget.

I actually led the humans in the last battle against the machines in the MXS Texas Throwdown a couple of years back. Infact, Dale Dupont was my XO. It was a blast. Your idea sounds interesting. Tell me more.

Yes. We will have at least one. Plus, we will be having Saturday nights in The Compound during June and July. We can't in August because we close the Compound to transform it into our Holloween atraction, 13 Houses of Horror.

I read APG(Action Pursuit Games) a lot, and i was reading on several differnt types of games other fields have played such as,

RISK!---(has to do with defending your claimed territory/while attacking your enemy's at same time, just like board game, exept on field.)

The Alamo-(Of course the defense of the Fort, or town.)

AVP: Aliens Vs Predator/Humans-(War between Aliens an Pred's with humans in middle fighting both, with several differnt objective's,explain later.)

Zombies!-(Dead vs. The Living, of course....a classic)

as i keep on reading ill try to provide some idea's, i think all of these sound pretty cool, same with that Terminator game.

It seems i read more than i should sometimes, but anyways, the other day i read a book called 'the guns of the south' about this racist group going back in time and giving AK-47's to the confederate army. The newly equiped confederate army then goes on the offensive and pushes the union army all the way to Washington DC. Here's my idea. In this game, a second group of time travelers come back and give AK-47's to the Union Army just before the Confederates reach DC. the ensuing battle begins with the Union trying to protect the capitol city and the white house (with the Honest Abe inside). The possible last battle of the civil war takes place on the shores of the potomic.
